After watching the first part and being completely confused, irritated by the flashbacks and bewildered by Boyd screaming at the assault victim, decided not to bother watching last night.

Did I miss anything?

No not really. More of the same. Boyd being grumpy and shouting at people in ludicrously underlit interrogation rooms and laboratories. One of the soldiers did it, can't remember why.

yes , use of term "Corporal" to trooper clearly wearing sergeant's stripes. He was obviously guilty as he didn't complain about this.
