I suspect my husband is cheating because all off a sudden he has told me he does not want to be a boring husband and a boring farther to our 6 year old son. All was fine about a month ago unitl he went to a high school reunion. Does anyone know were i stand? can i keep the house and still make him pay towards the mortgage as i only work part time.

Perhaps at this reunion, he met people who he thought to be more successful, more interesting or having a more fun lifestyle. So he's just going through a phase of self doubt and depreciation.

On the other hand, he may have rekindled or started a romance with someone he knew previously from school. You really need to speak to him, as he is the only person who knows what's going on in his head.

As you have a child, I doubt any court would expect you to vacate your home and I would expect he would have to continue paying the mortgage and pay towards your son's maintenance.

You really need to seek some legal advice from a solicitor specialising in family law. I think most firms will alow up to an hour of free advice. If not then contact your local Citizen's Advice Bureau.
has he changed in any other way, going out more, hiding his mobile, getting dressed up more......all these sorts of things
You definitely need to talk to each other susie. Sometimes it's easy to lose sight of each other when you work hard, have a young child and so on. Tell him how much you love him, and try and arrange some special time together. Then if he DOES leave, he may quickly realise that the grass isn't always greener. If it's too late, then I'm sure you wouldn't be thrown out of your house, but you need to seek legal advice. Best of luck hun. x
Why would you suspect him of cheating just because it sounds like he wants to be more fun for you and your son? That's a pretty radical conclusion to jump to. I'd suggest talking to him about what made him say that. Sounds to me from the little you've said that the last thing on his mind is cheating.
I don't understand why you think he is cheating and how quick you are to want to find out about keeping house etc...

You seem pretty sure, so maybe i'm missing something so sorry if I am! i would just ask him outright! He might just be trying to become a different person, it might blow over!

Try not to worry and find everythign out before jumping the gun!
Perhaps you should look at saving your marriage before you divvy up the house...if in the UK, try Relate to help talk about the issues.
