The Krays--Terrible crimes!!

Feature on the One Show about the Krays, some people regard them as icons They committed terrible crimes yet they are seen as "heroes" movies books about them, how do they stand with todays awful crime, father keeping his daughter in a dungeon, Fred West etc!

They were bad men..........
Fred West was a bad man........
Josef Fritzl is a bad man...........

But comparisons are useless as they were all bad in different ways...........

The Krays did do some terrible things, I was born and bred in London and it was full of gangs who mainly stayed in there own "Manor" When I was in South London (Surrey Docks) there was a gang in that area called "The Richardsons, have a read about them but apart from the things they did, They never mugged old ladies, they never stole or did harm to ordinary people, London was safe then, if somebody stepped out of line it was dealt with. if you mix in violent circles you get violence, I know people that were in gangs in the 50s and 60s and another thing you very rarely heard was any of them swearing in front of women, and they all respected ordinary family life, todays scum are far worse, they have no morals, they deal drugs, they commit acts of violence for no reason, I know which sort of crook I would rather have on the streets and it's not the ones about today.

Cheers Newsdesk, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing there, i just hate the way, the scum behave now, no morals at all, even rob off there own gran for a quick fix.
