My friend has had Labyrinthitis for 5 months now is she going to have it all her life or will it go away? And if it is there to stay what can she do to make it better for herself?

It does clear up but it can take a while. Five months does seem rather extreme though.

Has she visited the quacks yet? I think cause it's viral that nothing can be taken for it but there might be something she can take for the symptons of dizziness etc...

Other than that I'm really unsure. Perhaps the NHS Direct website might have more information?
