PA system

Is this PA system any good and could I run my acoustic guitar with a removable pick up through it, and also a microphone? Obviously I want a good sound for gigging in pubs! (Link below)

The speakers are listed as being 300 watts each but in reality the 300 watts is the total MAXIMUM output. RMS (the comfortable level the speakers will run at) is the real wattage so that will only be 150 watts per speaker.
The claim you could fill a venue of 150 people with this sound system is a complete and utter lie. It would sound like an ant farting in the royal albert hall lol.
Like I said I DJ so its a slightly different set up for me but for a room of 150 I would be using speakers doubke the waatage of these and also bass bins.
Best thing to do is do find an online musicians forum and ask the musicians on there what they would recommend. Personally speaking dont touch cheap bottom end of the market equipment because it will let you down.
Good luck ;-)

No sweat quiff lol
Trust me I started out with some rubbish speakers and its not worth buying rubbish even if it is cheap.
If you get onto an online muscians forum just ask them what they would use in your position and I bet someone on there will have stuff for sale. I upgrade my gear by buying off people I know who are upgrading or packing it in.
I've just had some speakers 6 months old for 400 quid that retail at a 1000 so the bargains are out there....
Good luck ;-)
