hi, we have a problem with our loo! The cistern won't fill up more than an inch and the water just runs straight through the loo! What can we do to sort it out? thanks in advance!

without looking i would say its sounds like your flush valve is possibly worn inside the cistern and is letting by

So you don't have the water running all night, tie up the arm of the ball **** to a stick laid across the top of the cistern & use a bucket of water to flush the loo as required until you get it fixed. If you're on a water meter it could cost a fortune otherwise!
