A man starts at point A and walks 30 ft., turns right and walks another 30 ft., turns left and walks another 10ft. to point B. How far is he from point A (in a straight line)?

The others that I have been finding all just said to turn toward driver and I thought it meant go back 10 feet. Lucky that I found it in time. Now I can do my math. Good luck with your answer. If I come up with something different then the two above I will let you know.
Assuming that the surface of the Earth is a perfect sphere with no hills or other such irregularities, and that the radius of the Earth is 3900 miles, a path of 50 feet along the curved surface from A to B would produce a straight-line distance (through the fabric of the Earth) from A to B of approximately 50 feet minus a 6,200,000,000th of an inch.
