Selling Canvas Paintings
Hi all, I want to start a small business selling canvas paintings but don't know where to start.
The paintings have been bought from an artist abroad who has agreed to sell me more (in bulk) if need be.
Is this possible to do and where do I start?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can also try local galleries, craft shops, upmarket coffee shops and so on to see if you can display them for sale, giving the outlet owner a per centage.
All these ideas have very little financial outlay.
Does your town have a gallery market, that rents space to antique sellers, artists, craft workers and so on? That might be an idea but will usually need a deposit and a contract of a few months - and of course you will need to commit a certain amount of time to that.
Take time now to research the market - see how your paintings are different to the ones availaible quite cheaply in large homestyle outlets, for example.
