What do the cowboy terms "Gee ho", "Haw" and "Whoa" mean?

Don't know about cowboys.  I've heard these (probably wrongly!) as commands for sled dogs:

Mush = Go.

Gee = Go left

Haw = Go right

Whoa = Stop, we're at the pub.

Gee - is to go right (in the US) it also means 'to agree' as in geeing

Haw - is to go left (in the US) it also means to falter in decision making ( as in humming and hawing).

To gee and haw means to go from one thing to another indecisively.

Whoa - is possibly a corrupted form of 'ho' or 'hold' (as in still) a word formerly used to order the cessation of anything.

Whoa is what you say to the horse you're riding, to get it to stop moving.  It has nothing to do with arriving at a pub!!!  That was just a joke.  "Whoa" is a general term.
