I have a song in my head at the moment and cant work out what it is!!

Its a song from around the time of "son of a preacher man" but i just cant think what its called!

at the beginning it has a guitar note that goes "diiiiing (then higher) diiiiing" which repeats over and over and then a bass line comes in that goes "dung de der de der de der"

I know its not much to go on but any help appreciated because its driving me nuts!!
