is the pendulum im hearing on radio 1 at the moment, the same drum and bass pendulum that played in a scuzzy nightclub in my hometown a couple of years ago at a drum and bass nite? im confused cos it kinda sounds a bit indie as well.

If you mean the Australian D,n,B Pendulum who relocated to the UK around 2003 and are currently a favourite of Zane Lowe, then yes.

Pendulum have been collaborating with Matt Belamy from Muse which is why their music is sounding very different at the moment... damn good though.
