I saw on the news today, how a London Barrister baricaded himself into his �2 million Chelsea property and had some kind of shoot out with police. He was eventually shot and killed by a Police marksman.

It seems the pressures of high powered jobs are causing some people to go over the rails and comit unexplainable or violent crimes. Would others agree stress is a killer in more ways than one?

Yes. There's too much pressure and expectation on people nowadays. On top of that, we have endless ridiculous laws to contend with. Soon we'll have to ask if it's OK to breathe!
You can't say what you want, for fearing upsetting the PC brigade (note that most everyday folk don't take offence anyway - they'd rather laugh); you can't DO what you want, even if it's innocent; we're all being watched; we're all being taxed to the hilt; industry's a thing of the past; houses are being given to illegal immigrants rather than to our own; the health Service is a joke...it just goes on. People are becoming increasingly depressed, violent or both - oh, and I don't think mobile phones help either! Rant over.

i would suggest that drinking + firearms are more likely to be the causes of this violence rather than a stressful job
