yes I have asked similar question before, but we are going on Thurs to Classical Brit Awards and now I am in panic mode. Live in Essex on District Line, hubby is now blind so dont want a long walk from tube, is there anywhere we can change from tube to bus that would take us outside the door of the R. A. Hall.
Once tried to park up there but it was horrendous, once used their parking facilities but that wasnt actually near and getting out of their car park took over an hour.
helpful suggestions appreciated.Dee

Looking at the Central London Bus Guide, it's not clear where the stop at South Kensington is. (It looks as if the bus passes, through the one-way system, just to the west of the station).
An alternative would be to leave the District Line at Victoria and proceed to Victoria Bus Station (which is directly outside the rail station). Service 52 starts from there (with the destination shown as 'Willesden'). The route passes directly in front of the RAH.
