After the results in last weeks polls do the English electorate have a problem with Gordon Brown being a Scot? Should he develop an english accent and start speaking like Tony Blair (a very english Scot) or has everyone just had their fill with Labour and fancy a change again?
Blair was only successful for 10 years because Brown was running the economy. You don't put a banker in charge of social services though and his interaction with the British public is poor.
I (not surprisingly) agree with CHina, a smile now and then wouldn't kill him. He's not very enegmatic is he, he seems to be the kind of person that if forced to remove my nag from the seat next to me on the train, I get stuck next to for a couple of hours.
