Can I carry on my pill?
13 Answers
I am due to run out of my pill and will evidently get my period next weekend, when I am on holiday.....
Does it depend on the pill I am taking, or can I run through next week and thereafter with another packet without a break in between, and be "contraceptically" (it 's MY word) covered?
I don't really wanna take a doc appt just to ask this, as I know that it can be done with most pills. I am taking Lo-Gynone (I think that's the spelling)......

Have been on the pill for 13+ yrs, so surely am covered!
4get - Thanks, I actually think I heard someone else say that more than 2 packs was dodgy, but I would only take it for another month. But only if I am sure I am covered.........1st time me and my man have been away for a weekend in absolute ages - typical! :(

I hate to put a dampner on your plans, but Logynon is one of the pills that don't work like this - I tried it and when it didn't work the Dr. said the clue is in the fact that they're different colours..... But he did give me some other tablets that can stop it happening. I can't remember what they are, but you need a prescription for them anyway I think, and your Dr. would know what you're after. Sorry, again....
