You could always cover it in cling film (aka saran wrap) and pop it in the ping machine - on full power for 2 minutes (assuming a 750W variety), peel back cling film and stir it around, then replace in pinger and heat for a further 1 minute. Should definitely be ready to eat then... Unless it is a potato... potatoes are much harder work and have been known to cause trouble in the kitchen if you don't keep them under control.
