Yes, I like these little inserts they slip in - some of them are easy to miss.
My favourite was in the first series, when the Slitheen were in 10 Downing Street, and a missile was homed in on them. As the Slitheen leader looked up, the soundtrack went 'Oh sh' BOOM.
The Doctor also said to Donna's Grandad, "Haven't I seen you before?" Possibly a reference to Bernard Cribbens (Donna's Grandad) having played the part of the Doctors assistant in one of the early films.
The reference to Bernard Cribbins having been in the second Dalek film, is that the Doctor and Donna wave to him from the open doorway of the Tardis in the first episode of series IV, "Partners in Crime".
Dr. Who and his companions waved to Cribbins character at the end of that second film, from the open doorway of Tardis.
Geemac they not only met they had quite a conversation. The Dr wanted to know why it was so quiet when they all beamed down, and he replied that many had left town given what had happened the Christmas before, excepting her majesty. You might remember at the end of the episode the spaceship was out of control heading for buck house.
