How big?

Hello, I am getting (as you might have read) some Australorp chickens. This question is a bit easier. Approximately how long and wide are Australorp ***** and hens?

In length they are about the same size as a leghorn but Austalorps are very thickset birds. They have rather loose fluffy feathers and the rooster is not that much bigger than the hen. They are a nice quiet bird and fairly good layers but I found them to becoming broody frequently so make the laying boxes so the eggs roll away from their sight after being laid.
