I have small amounts of European money that is now useless. Are there any charities out there that will accept them

I believe thay are still exchangeable but only at the 'Head Office' branch, in the country of origin. So Pesetas to Madrid, Francs to Paris. etc.

Charities in the UK would therefore have similar problems to yourself.

If and when you go on holiday why not drop them in those big transparent cubes that they have in the airports for collecting notes and coins?

Or you may find they have a value as a collectable item, so try Ebay.
