In the absence of seeekeerz I have taken it upon myself to be unofficial scorer for this game. I have also reposted this with the standard heading for those wishing to use the site's search facility (when it works).
Thank you JRB for posting the links earlier. They were:
ESTUARY English Hurricane DECK DRESS circle STONE Mason
What an exciting week: After last week's dearth of points, we have a veritable surfeit this week. Furthermore, we have a CLEAN SWEEP by one entrant. Details below.
Right from the start the bonus points were being dished out to joto for ESTUARY ENGLISH closely followed by ulysses100, sarumite, Aquagility & london lassy within the requisite 2 ninutes.
Second entrant ulysses100 also took the bonus points for STONE MASON and so also did freebi 2, beejay1124 & JRB
Eleven minutes into the game, Chiefpanda picked up BOTH the remaining links HURRICANE DECK and DRESS CIRCLE) AND matched ESTUARY ENGLISH for a total of 5 points.
The best was to come 50 minutes into the game at 8:33 when crofter matched EVERYTHING for 4 points plus 2 bonus points = total of 6 points. ***** CONGRATULATIONS CROFTER ***** ***** FANFARE of TRUMPETS ***** ***** CHEERS and APPLAUSE *****
Well done ****Crofter**** I was rubbish as usual and just one for Jim. Thanks to Gen2 for stepping in and assuming Steff mantle and I'll join you in wishing her computer a speedy recovery. :-)
wow crofter - congratulations. A clean sweep and 2 bonus points - if only you had got up earlier!!!
Seriously though clean sweep is a rank above hot shot - and no better person to claim it! :0)
Many thanks gen2 for stepping into the breach .. I've not had chance to look in this morning ... (have been painting garden furniture!), and not even looked at Herculis yet!!
Wow! crofter has cleaned up, what a performance!! Possibly calls for a knighthood, or at the very least a nightcap!! Arise Sir Krophta!!! (S)
Returning from a long weekend away yesterday afternoon, I couldn't access the MM or KM competitions............... The site was playing up and I kept trying right until the deadline.
Ah well, better luck next time.
I hoped nobody would notice. I copied and pasted the heading from an old post to get the right format, and then got distracted before I altered the month/week. The unaltered version therefore went live. Apologies everyone.
In any case, these results are just provisional. We await seekeerz's return to validate them. I hope it is just her computer and not Steff herself who is ill. I still have no reply from an email I sent her.
