I have a joint mortage with my husband, the former house that we lived when sold gave us some money, though he contributed some money to the payment of the mortage, when the house was sold part of the money was used to buy the new house with both our names and at that time he said I could used the money to pay off my student loan and the rest money was used to start up a business that failed.

That house sold was my house it was bought when he was still in africa with my name, I had lived in that house for 4 years before he came to join me.

So becuase the business failed he is now claiming that he knows nothing about the business and since 2006 we moved to this new house he had never contributed to payment of the mortage or paid council tax, claiming that I had some money hide in some bank.

As a christian I had done every thing I can to make him pay mortage but all had failed, now I want to take him to court to removed his name, I had seen a lawyer, the fees are expensive, I will represent myself as I am finding it diffcult to pay the morrage and council tax

Please how do I go about this?.

I don't really understand most of your post to be honest.

In resply to he last paragraph though, to remove his name from the mortgage your lenders would have to agree and would need to be satisfied that you could affford the mortgage on your own. As you admit yourself that you are finding it difficult, this is unlikely to happen. It may be that you have no choice but to sell.

Flipping heck, keep your hair on. I'm sorry if you don't like my username but there is nothng wrong with it - there are far worse on this site believe me.

Perhaps you should try and find a christian website where all user names are vetted and are all to your liking.

I did actually give you an answer to your question though...
