I know Kristin shot JR and I know Sue Ellen was arrested, but did anyone actually stand trial for the shooting?

Sue Ellen was arrested and put on trial after she shot JR many seasons after the original Who Shot JR? stroryline.

There was no trial for the shooting perpetrated by Kristin.

kristin drowned in the swimming pool.
