dry eyes with dark circles, what to use?
5 Answers
I have very sensitive skin around my eyes, at the minute it is really dry and 'baggy' looking. I also have dark circles (which I always do) but I look ghastly at the minute.
Any idea of creams that might moisten the area up, I've tried quite a few and they generally irritate my skin.
Any personal recommendations?

Use slices of cucumber cooled in the fridge and applied on the eyes like an eye-mask or sliced raw potato used in the same way. Iced frozen used tea bags are also really useful in controlling exhausted eyes, dark circles and puffiness.
A very effective treatment is using a mixture of 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt and 1-teaspoon honey, mix and uses it like an eye-mask under the eyes. Wash off after 15 minutes. Also, take grated cucumber or potato and immerse cotton pads in the mixture then refrigerate until cold and apply over eye area. This makes an excellent eye treatment

Recently there was a massive product test in a magazine/paper and one of the categories was creams to minimise dark circles (not bags) under eyes.
The product that came out best was Korres Eyebright Cream ( http://www.skinandco.com/ProductDetails.aspx?p roductID=190 ) which, although pricey, worked for almost all the product testers, only one of whom said she did not see a decrease in the circles under her eyes!
