If you can't afford a vet how do you know it needs putting down?
And how are you thinking of doing it?
If you really can't afford it, the RSPCA are really helpful, although I'd say that most vets would have the animals best interests at heart and if you explain that you simply cannot afford it (if this is the case) then I'm certain they would try and help you some way, by either doing it for free or arranging a payment plan of say 5 a month or something.
I can't believe what im reading here, how could anyone kill thier pet?, no matter what the reason is. There is a difference between killing your pet and having it put to sleep at the vet. The least a person could do is have enough respect for thier pet to have it euthanised properly and figure out how to pay for it at another time. As far as bringing it into the woods and not knowing what hit em, that is about as cruel as it gets. Im not trying to put anyone down here for thier responses but if you have a pet, please be a responsible pet owner.
