Does anyone agree with me that telecoms should be re-named telecons?
One example is that only a few years ago, you would have been rewarded for paying your bill by direct debit by receiving a discount. Now, there is normally a charge for not paying by direct debit and that is just one example of the telecons business, let alone premium rate numbers used by most commercial organisations these days.

As a licenced radio amateur, I'm thinking of going back to morse code
. . . - - - . . .
well problem solved , we will set up our own company ; )
I get all inclusive phone calls and broadband from Tiscali, and have no problems with them.

However they are up for sale, and there are strong rumours that Carphone Warehouse are interested. Aaaaaagh!

Yes weeal...SOS is very appropriate
how are CarphoneWarehouse getting away with it, i want to smash their faces in
and im a peace-keeping hippy too !
makes you wonder weeal .
I totally agree with you there Weeal about Carphone Warehouse!!!!
And as for premium phone in numbers and text in contests they are certainly a rip-off too!!
I mean when you look at the cost of most contest entries,it's about 1.50 to 2 a time to enter.A real greedy way to gain loads of profit.
Let's all boycott these phone-in contests.Hopefully, they will then soon get the message!!
