Modern telephone company rip-offs?
14 Answers
Does anyone agree with me that telecoms should be re-named telecons?
One example is that only a few years ago, you would have been rewarded for paying your bill by direct debit by receiving a discount. Now, there is normally a charge for not paying by direct debit and that is just one example of the telecons business, let alone premium rate numbers used by most commercial organisations these days.

I totally agree with you there Weeal about Carphone Warehouse!!!!
And as for premium phone in numbers and text in contests they are certainly a rip-off too!!
I mean when you look at the cost of most contest entries,it's about 1.50 to 2 a time to enter.A real greedy way to gain loads of profit.
Let's all boycott these phone-in contests.Hopefully, they will then soon get the message!!
