Has anyone had a disappointing experience with eBay?

My hubby bought a hip flask. It looked the normal size on the listing. When it arrived it was a miniature - about an inch and a half tall. You could only just fit a single measure in it.

The seller had put the measurements on the listing but he had put them in metric, and unfortunately we still think in feet and inches!

Did you post it knobby, or did you fly it over?
Whenever I want buy something on ebay I always click on the "nearest first" rather than the "time ending soonest" option

Then I email them and offer to buy it before the auction ends and pick it up, that way you don`t have pay the postage and wait 3 weeks for the lazy fookers to post it and if it`s a crock of ***** you don`t have to buy it
Yeah Knobby, and then you retracted the sale of the jet when I was ready to purchase. lol

Eh?
I bought a mattress protector once as my nephew was young and still vulnerable at night o wetting the bed. It was so cheap but when it came it was just like a very crumply plastic bag, but cut to a rectangle. Really crumply and noisy though. Awful.
