Wonder if anyone could help me... My nan who is on benefit and claiming housing benefit has been asked to go abroad with my parents for a long holiday, between 6-8 weeks and i was wondering if she would lose any benefit or housing if she did go, i wouldnt want her going away and coming back to face problems

Cheers ;0)

For god's sake dont inform the authorities, it will take months to get back on track.
Does she have a friend/ you if your not going/ who would wait one month and then cash the month for her ? she will have to sign them before she goes ? then by the time she gets back she can cash the next months and if over by a couple of days just say you forgot and eventually they will give you the back one.
This is what most people do anyway, its her money and she is entitled, think of all the East Europeans who flit back and forth and still get their money.
