Can anyone make sense of the final number in this sequence

I came up with 1161 but not sure if it correct

Probably not -

First numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1 ... so then 2 would be next.

Last 3 numbers in every group add to...

14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5... so last 3 numbers in next one should add to 4. I still need to think about what 3 numbers those should be.

Sorry, I goofed a bit - the 1072 doesn't follow my rule. Also, adding every number in each group gives a total of 15, but again that 1072 is the odd one out, adding to 10 only.

Strange...
