I'm looking for a glass lid for my Tefal non stick pan with a high dome glass lid . It's called an oven frypan and has a steam vent and you can actually roast on the hob with it as well casseroles and all kinds of frying.

It's marvellous but I broke the lid and Tefal don't want to know. Can anybody help please?

pinkcloud, Have you not been to Wilkinsons, G&Gs, Woolworths, Robert Dyass, they are sold everywhere.

Thanks Shylock73 for your reply.

The problem is that this Tefal oven frypan model has not been made for a some years so there have been no spares available for quite a time.
Sorry about that pinkcloud.

Thanks Shylock73.

My question was in the hopes that someone may have an old unwanted pan and perhaps sell me the lid, or maybe knows a supplier of old Tefal spares.

The pan is quite large, about 27cm, and squarish.
Hi Pinkcloud
Have you had any luck with this? I broke the lid to my Tefal Oven frypan at the weekend and I am distraught. They are very old pans and the description of yours seems to match mine. I'm hoping you have been offered two lids and I can have the spare one!!

No I've had no luck at all. The spares people who sold me one before have closed down and the spares reverted back to being sold by Tefal who sent me a snooty e-mail. They supply only current spares now and couldn't understand why anyone would love an old pan. Probably because its much better than anything made now!

I'm still distraught about mine and would be very grateful to know if you find a supplier.

Hi, I too have this fantastic pan, it was a hand me down and it is so fantastic for so many things I cannot believe there isn't a current model.Everytime I use it I am paranoid of the lid slipping off onto the floor. I have done many searches and not come up with anything. Have you found a source for replacements? If I found new items I would buy a dozen, they are that good ! regards Ted

Hello Ted.

Thanks for that but I've had no luck at all and I'm still hoping to buy a lid or pan from someone. If anyone finds a supplier I'd be so grateful to know.

I've resorted to going to boot sales!

I have a glass lid for the oven fry pan by Tefal, the pan has
unfortunately lost its cooking surface now, let me know if you are still looking. I broke the original lid and managed to get a replacement before they were discontinued.

Hello 23537

I was so overwhelmed to hear that you have a lid I completely overlooked asking you how much you would like for it and what arrangements you would like for letting me have it. Sorry.

Thanks again

Delighted for you to have it,how about 7.50 plus postage?
Maybe you are close enough to collect or we could deliver
depending on where you live. We are in Eastcote, Middx.Await your reply.

Hello 23537

That's great, thank you. We live near Caterham in Surrey and my husband knows your area as he was born in Harrow. Although it would seem easier to post it we think it would probably be safer for us to collect it. It would also be a pity if you posted it and it was not the same one (although I'm sure it is). Do you happen to have the part number of the one you said you bought? Would you like to email me directly on [email protected]?

I really am very grateful to you.
