motorola v220

how can i change the predictive txt to off. its an old phone of my sons and is a stand in till i sort another phone so i'm not sure how long i will have it but i need to get the txt option altered before it drives me mental cheers.

Options>Text Setup
There should be a list on the creeen, the first option being 'Primary Text', if you hit the 'Change' option while sitting on the highlighted 'Primary Text', it will come up with a list, you want to scroll down and find 'TAP English', change it to that, then back your way out back to the start and that will be the default for every message you send.
TAP English is not predictive, iTAP English is predictive.
I don't have a V220, but I hope that all Moto's are pretty much the same and you find what I'm talking about.
