how can i change the predictive txt to off. its an old phone of my sons and is a stand in till i sort another phone so i'm not sure how long i will have it but i need to get the txt option altered before it drives me mental cheers.

If you go to your text message bit and make out like you're about to send a message, when you're in the blank screen ready to type your message, hit

Options>Text Setup

There should be a list on the creeen, the first option being 'Primary Text', if you hit the 'Change' option while sitting on the highlighted 'Primary Text', it will come up with a list, you want to scroll down and find 'TAP English', change it to that, then back your way out back to the start and that will be the default for every message you send.

TAP English is not predictive, iTAP English is predictive.

I don't have a V220, but I hope that all Moto's are pretty much the same and you find what I'm talking about.

thanks lakitu, i tried that and it didn't work , but in the mean time i have sussed a problem with the sim card, it will not send txt messages in any phone so looks like i will have to get another phone .but thanks for your trouble .

Oh that's a shame, if you want another Moto, the KRZR is nice and I've never had problems with it :)
