If you are a child/young person it may be an autoimmune problem or failure of the pancreas to produce enough insulin for whatever reason. This is juvenile or insulin-dependent diabetes (Type 1). If you are an adult it is usually diet-related and your insulin receptors become less sensitive so you need medication and diet/lifestyle modification. This is maturity-onset diabetes (Type 2).
Your question sounds like you actually want it. You don't do you?
