We are watching this and my partner (who was the victim of domestic abuse in a previous relationship) is commending the storywriters as to how real they are making this storyline - i.e. Andy making Jo feel that it is somehow her fault for him abusing her. I condone violence against women (and men), and think that the programme is going to do a lot of good by broaching this topic.
