damp proofing on leaseholder buildings insurance
I've just bought a leasehold ground floor flat, and have had to pay thousands to have rising damp sorted in the flat. Does anyone know if I'll be able to claim on the leaseholders buildings insurance?

This will depend on the wording of your lease as regards what costs the landlord has to cover & then include in the service charge.
However, as you have gone ahead & got the work done, you may find some difficulty in getting the landlord to accept it.
