I know it's late but i'm thinking of buying the wife a bath spa for xmas. It's one of those things you hook over the side of the bath and it blows bubbles into the water, just like a jaccuzi. Anyone got one who can tell me if they are any good. I'm a shower man myself.

Has this activity recently become a Sport?

phil, i think that depends how much you enjoy it....

I bought one for my mum a few years back.  it was great, she loved it, especially when she'd got a sore back, it was very soothing.....however, she moved home and it didn't fit over the side of her new bath, so maybe you want to check that out first?

Phil, after you do SPORT you have a relaxing spa bath.

There are several for sale on Ebay at price starting from 5, which is the price I paid for mine!

I intended it as a gift for my mother, but to be honest I found when I tried it that it just swished the water round a bit, didn't really give that "massage" feeling.

Makes lots of lovely bubbles, though, & I think it would be a great present.

Happy Yule.

LOL peter.  So what SPORT is your wife doing that necessitates a spa bath while you have your shower?!

On second thoughts, better not answer that...............!!

perhaps this question would have been better placed in the shopping section, or even body and soul as thats where the conversation seems to be leading...
I have a Babyliss one and think it is really good. Last year I got my boyfriend the spa mat thing (also Babyliss) and it is excellent - very powerful with different settings. More expensive than the ones that just hook onto the side of the bath but definitely worth it. Just don't add bubble bath.....
