stuart the spider always goes for a leisurely stroll across my ceiling same time every night, should i blue tac a series of rewards on the ceiling to make his walks more enjoyable?
Don't hurt Stuart!! Just remember, he eats all those nasty flies and mozzies that buzz round your head at night!
old grape - is that you?? I mean the original? Back? It's good to see you on here again!
i would take off my slipper , give him a good swipe , get an antiseptic wet wipe , peel him off throw him through the window , slam the window , draw the curtains , stuff toilet paper in the vents . get next doors cat to sleep on my bed , with the light on , get a duster an get rid off cobwebs , then get under the duvet and stay awake all night just in case .
I have one too- Simon, he's ginormous and lives somewhere in my fireplace. I swear when he comes out late at night you can almost hear him stomping he's that big. I'm extremely fond of him and I hope he's around for quite awhile. He's way more preferable to dirty sodding flies.
I used to have two pet tarantulas (seriously!) One was called Octavia (appropriate for a spider!) and the other was called Pandora. They were lovely, but Mr K hated them & said that if ever they got out when I wasn't there, they'd get his "slipper treatment" too. Fortunately, it never happened.
