opinions do make up a vast majority of the site. I can't say how many I'd get on with, probably quite a few as I tend to think people in general do make an effort to get on with others and for the most part meet more people we like than dislike... well perhaps not like but are at least indifferent to.

The example you gave would to me be the equivelent of walking up to someone in a pub and randomly criticisiing what they're doing even though it has no effect on me and I actually couldn't care less. It would be starting an argument for no reason rather than voicing an opinion per se. I'm not saying you're wrong or you have no right to an opinion, just how I would view that particular example. Does that make more sense?

Chappie - in my opinion it's pretending to an extent. Posters are real people with emotions writing their thought and feelings, sometimes directed toward a particular individual whether it's to help them, aggravate them or rile them up.

It's up to each individual to be mature enough to read and accept others post with an open mind, and this can be challenge for some.

Very true figure, but lots of posts on here are based on the poster's own opinions, values etc ......

I think "each to their own". You will always get the serious posters, quirky posters, crackpots, a whole mix of people - and in my opinion, everyone has a right to be themselves.

Oh flip, it's too late for deep and meaningful stuff! We'll continue this another time!
