oh dear it wont let me write it!! so we shall call them boy chicken!!
LOL

I think boy chicken may be better :)

Sorry, I can't offer any useful advice, but thanks for making me smile.
How about 'sockerels' as an alternative name? I'm afraid you've run into an age old problem often encountered when 'food' providing animals become pets. What to do with the 'others'. If you can't keep them, don't want anyone to eat them & can't find 'pet' homes then you will have to bite the bullet & have them put down like any other pet at the vets. Sorry but that's it for noisy pets. I hope your Belgian Boy likes his new wives.

our belgian boy came with his 2 wives, we rescued them from a farmers market the bloke was goona kill them coz they didnt sell and werent perfect. Boy has missing claws and one lady has a bent beak. they were at the rare breeds show and nobody wanted them! his name is c o c k y, named by kids!
i will try advertising them in pet shops and maybe freecycle x lol. but if it comes to it, i will have to have a rethink about what to do, i have eaten rooster, and the burgers are lovely, but to eat one of my babies i dunno xx at least they r free range and have a lovely life x

Do you realise that if you keep another c*ckerel your existing boy will shout a lot more to compete with the other boy he can hear crowing? You will end up with a full blown noise war! Surely as your new girls are 'mixed' you may as well put them all together?
Question Author
No i got all 6 as babies, i presumed they would be siblings.
The 6 live in a huge enclosure with 2 indian runner ducks and 2 lady bantams.
then in another large enclosure i have the quail bantam c*ck and his ladies, they are not allowed to mix as i would have full blown war lol!
I know i cant keep any of the boys (if they turn out definately to be) and hopefully i can rehome them. x

Think we r going to have to eat them!
They have had wonderful lives, and well cared for, at least thats better than buying a free range from off the shelf, dont kno where its come from, how its been looked after.
Am i cruel??
