can anyone tell me if this is a self cleaning oven, and if it is, how do i get it to clean itself?

no so called self cleaning oven is geninely self-cleaning so don't think you are going to get out of your housework so lightly!

they basically have a special coting on each side of the oven which is meant to sto the grease from settling on it. your still going to get fat spitting all over the glass door, the oven roof and bottom and in the burners.

Gucciman - my self cleaning oven is entirely self cleaning. It tells me when it needs to be cleaned (it detects the dirt itself), I press a button and when it has finished, open the door and sweep the 'ashes' out.

That's it.
