i have recently installed bt broadband basic,when recieving e-mail with attachment i am asked to download it to yahoo briefcase,can anyone advise me how to retrieve it at a later date,because i cannot find the means

I thought that yahoo briefcase stored things online rather than on your hard drive. Maybe it's at:
http://uk.briefcase.yahoo.com/yourYahooUsername

If you receive a lot of attachments then maybe you'd be better off using a different email account. I'd suggest either one which you can use something like Outlook to access so that you can easily store things on your hard drive, or even a gmail account which gives more space than yahoo.
