I heard that there was a BBC??? programme on TV, in the last month, that featured the Canvey Island (England East Coast) floods of 31st Jan 1953. Does anybody know what channel it was on? My contact was fairly sure that it was the BBC, but it could have been somewhere else.....

Yes, it's been on twice now. I think it was called The Great Storm and was on BBC2. Very good, it was.

Hi.  Yes I saw that program, it was on twice, but I think the first time it was classed as an episode of timewatch, so maybe if you look up timewatch on the bbc website you might be able to find out more?  Happy Christmas!
