What are you doing for Memorial Day? I'm going to the US Kid in downtown Louisiana for the assembly they're having. Me and my family are going to hang around and go out to eat.

Hi Tetsuba! This is primarily a British website, so we would not celebrate Memorial Day here. Have fun though, it sounds like you'll be having a good time. :O)

O we dont do anything like that here and I think we should.
A recognition the fallen who have allowed us to lead our lives as we know it- and for our children we were blessed with becuase of their ultimate sacrifice
We do have rememberance Sunday in November -the day nearest Nov 11th but I firmly believe instead of all those mindless Bank Holidays one should be in rememberance of our fallen and for us all to take time out with our families and be grateful.

It has been muted -who knows?

Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday for us in the UK (to celebrate the Queens official birthday - 24th May).

I think your Bank Holidays fall on different days and you get an extra day to boot.
