A Percuniary Advantage.

Does anybody know of any case law where the offender has lied on a C.V and subsequently obtained a percuniary advantage........BUT......he or she has made themselves actually LESS qualified than they have stated.

I know of dozens where people have said they have medical, legal, engineering credentials that simply do not exist, but never where a doctor, for example wants to become a nurse.

Or is it actually an offence to under-qualify oneself on purpose even if a percuniary advantage has been made?

difficult Q, there ? ..... dont think its a "percuniary advantage " to under "QUALIFY " one self on appn form or CV , ...... in fact i once advised someone who had a Degree in "geography " ,.... to say they had a n "A LEVEL only 2 , in Geography ..... employers i guess dont want "overqualified 2 people on there work force , in case , they , get "bored " with job , and leave ....... ----- the only time this may get questioned "underqualifying 2 ones self , if some one does something dishonest in the work place ....... and the C.V / application , "white lie " , comes out .....in the open

a doctor wouldnt be able to become a nurse, unless they subsequently went thrugh 3 years nurse training - you have to be registered and wont get a job without the registration. the jobs are nothing like one another

Surely the point is making false claims to gain advantage.

I doubt that failing to admit something would be an offence - (unless it is something you are obliged to disclose, such as criminal record for example)

Does it mean I could be committing an offence if I don't mention my Bronze Swimming Certificate from 1976?
