Is there a max INPUT temp for a combi?
Slightly theoretical question. Am thinking that you could use a secondary source e.g. wood burner stove or solar cells to heat a tank of water. If this was pressurised with a balance tank rather than vented this could then be the feed straight to a combi. Thus hot water all the time at the correct temperature but reduced running costs.
But would the combi have e.g. some safety device against this?
Any thoughts appreciated.....
