Help does anyone now how i can fix my fathers computer. He pressed too many buttons a few weeks ago and now all he has when he turns on his computer is a black screen with a load of writing on it about the processor, driver hard drive and then at the very end it says NTLDR is compressed press Ctlr + Alt + Del to continue. when i press Ctrl Alt Del is just keeps appearing. I've tried to use the recovery disk but when i do any of the recovery options it keeps appearing with the same screen. He doesn't have a back up disk made, he doesn't have the original windows XP disk(it came pre-installed) It doesn't gointo safe mode and there is no known last good config anywhere on the screen. It's an Advent PC i'm not sure what model but he only bought it in April. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanx
