I talk to friends alot through texting and computer, but since I travel to diffrent countries, I cant do that., and I can't send a letter, because I'm on a cruise. So how do I talk to friends why I'm in other countries on vacation?

Take a laptop into the ship or use their onboard facilities. A bit pricey maybe but you have to make choices as to how important this is to you.

ships have internet connections (seldom cheap); so do ports.

Use skype when abroad.you can also text internationally from skype very cheaply.
there are veryu few internet cafes that wouldnt have skype , if any.

You can go on "Roaming" but it's expensive and the other person pays half the cost.

call me old fashioned but isnt a cruise supposed to be for rest & relaxation ? cant you just forget the world until you get back ?
