Sagem MYX-1

The Mrs was given a Sagem MY-1 for Christmas. After the phone has rang a few times it goes to answerphone setting. Can anyone tell me how to disable the answerphone as she doesnt want to use this? The instruction books not much help.

Sorry , i dont know how to use a Sagem phone, but you could try - 'Call Divert' on the menu, and select 'Cancel All Diverts' or a similar sounding option. There might also be an option here to make the time taken to answerphone to kick in a bit longer. Hope this helps.

The answerphone setting isn't always with the phone handset, with o2 the setting is changed via the voicemail (ie specific to the sim card, not the phone)

I have a Sagem and although im no great user of mobiles, you could try this (as i had a similar problem)

Go to Calls - Calls forwarded - Voice Calls - Deactivation - worked for me, otherwise all calls went straight to answerphone without even ringing.
