TV/DVD connection

I have just got a DVD player for xmas but my portable tv that i want to connect it to only has an aerial socket in the back and no scart socket. Is there a way of connecting this DVD player as well as the video player or do I need to replace the TV? Hope someone can help, very many thanks.
