The road tax is going up a lot in April 2009 - however, if my next tax is due in February will I only have to pay at the current rate for the next 12 months or will there be a part increase from April added on?

It's from the next time you buy a tax disc so get a years worth in Feb and you'll be ok till 2010! Or better still get yourself a Bike, lot cheaper oh and faster!
