we told the customer to call out heatline in the end as they only charge 160 for a call out with all parts and labour, turned out it was just a overheat stat, one part of me is kicking myself for missing something so simple but on the other hand if they hadn't of lost the manuals for it we may have stood more of a chance.

how do you test a circuit board with the multi meter? or were you refering to tracing the components through the pin connectors on the board?
