Martin Lewis the Financial adviser, re fuel prices!
5 Answers
I am so undecided which company i should switch to for duel fuel ! Martin advises folks to switch by Monday and cap their prices, as fuel costs are going to go sky high ! As a pensioner living on my own, i just dont know what to do, and which company to switch to, at the moment i am with EDF, and already just recently had an increase of 30 a month, i use very little of either fuel, at this rate i shall have to resort to living in a tent ! Any advice please ?
Thanks in advance !

We are with British Gas (duel fuel) We capped our prices ages ago, but I bet we could find cheaper elsewhere! We're just staying put for the moment with our capped prices. I just don't understand how you work out cheaper comparisons? xxx
Hi Cazzz, It's a matter of choice, if you cap, then your charges stay at a fixed rate despite the increase, i dont think Monday is the deadline for all the companies, but there is, according to Martin Lewis going to be a big increase, and he said it would be better to cap before that happens. Google his website, it's brilliant !
